A ceremony was held by Central National Bank on January 24, 1931, and the tower was completed on August 20, 1930.
The new building contained other office spaces which was leased by prominent Battle Creek attorneys, physicians, dentists, accountants, and real estate agents.

In 1959, a Thunderbolt tornado siren, manufactured by Federal Signal, was installed along with an American Flag atop the tower.
It has a nearly square-plan tower located in front along Michigan Avenue, and a four-story section extending to the rear.
