Battle of Ryabaya Mogila

By May 1770, the corps of General N. V. Repnin suffered heavy losses from the plague epidemic and with difficulty defended near Ryabaya Mogila from the Crimean cavalry that surrounded it.

Rumyantsev came to the aid of Repnin and, after the connection, on June 17 began the battle.

According to the realized plan of Rumyantsev, the Russian army was divided into several separate detachments that attacked Kaplan-Girey's troops simultaneously from several sides.

Rumyantsev's offensive put the Crimean-Turkish camp under the threat of encirclement and forced the Khan to retreat to the Larga River, losing 400 men in the process.
