Bauera is a genus of four species of flowering plants in the family Cunoniaceae, all endemic to eastern Australia.
The flowers are arranged singly in leaf axils and are bisexual, with four to ten spreading sepals.
There are four to ten pink or white petals, that are egg-shaped with the narrower end towards the base and longer than the sepals.
There are four to many stamens with thread-like filaments and the ovary has two fused carpels and two styles.
