Beáta Siti

During her active career she was European champion and silver medalist from both World Championships and the Olympic Games.

[2][3] Siti made her international debut on 25 November 1994 against Macedonia,[2] and her first major tournament was the 1995 World Women's Handball Championship, where the Hungarian team won the silver medals after falling short against South Korea in the final.

[1][5] She competed at the 2000 European Women's Handball Championship, where the Hungarian team won gold medals ahead of Ukraine and Russia.

She was forced to retire in 2006 after a knee ligament injury, following that she took the technical director position of Alcoa FKC.

[3] She has a younger sister, Eszter Siti, who is also a former Hungarian international handball player and European champion.
