Beefwood is the name given to a number of Australian trees which have timber with a red colouration resembling raw beef as follows: Some Casuarinaceae species are also referred to as Beefwoods, Casuarina equisetifolia, Casuarina cunninghamiana, Allocasuarina verticillata, Allocasuarina distyla (Syn.
