Unincorporated communities in the township include Cloe, Fairview, Albion, Robertsville, Bells Mills, Riker and Spindletown.

U.S. Route 119 is the main highway across the township, following the Mahoning Creek valley, and leading west into Punxsutawney and northeast into Big Run.
