Bement is a village in Piatt County, Illinois, United States.
According to the 2010 census, Bement has a total area of 0.81 square miles (2.10 km2), all land.
25.6% of all households were made up of individuals, and 12.1% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
Built in 1856 by Francis E. Bryant, it is now preserved as an example of pioneer architecture and as an important historic site.
Due to budget cuts, Bryant Cottage was scheduled to close, even though it is an important landmark in Abraham Lincoln's political career.
