Benjamin Tanimu

Benjamin Tanimu (born 24 July 2002) is a Nigerian professional footballer who plays as a defender for EFL League One club Crawley Town and the Nigeria national team.

[3] After seven seasons, he signed for Tanzanian Premier League side Ihefu FC, later known as Singida Black Stars, in February 2024.

[4][5] On 2 September 2024 Tanimu joined EFL League One club Crawley Town on a two-year contract for a fee of 2.3 billion Tanzanian shillings,[6] linking up with the club in the weeks following the move.

[7] On 19 October 2024, he made his debut for the club as a late substitute in a 4–1 defeat to Reading.

[9] Tanimu was called up to the Nigeria national team for the first time in March 2024 for friendlies against Ghana and Mali.
