This included the municipalities of Gulen, Fedje, Austrheim, Masfjorden, Modalen, Alver, Askøy, Øygarden, Osterøy, Vaksdal, Voss, Austevoll, Bjørnafjorden, Samnanger, and Bergen.
Its judicial duties were mainly to settle criminal cases and to resolve civil litigation as well as bankruptcy.
