Bergland Township is a civil township of Ontonagon County in the U.S. state of Michigan.

[3] According to the United States Census Bureau, the township has a total area of 108.24 square miles (280.3 km2), of which 98.50 square miles (255.1 km2) is land and 9.74 square miles (25.2 km2) (9.00%) is water, most of which is Lake Gogebic.

Gogebic County is to the south and to the west of the southern tier of survey townships.

Carp Lake Township is to the north and west of the northern tier.

The climate is described as Humid Continental by the Köppen Climate System, abbreviated as Dfb.
