Beth Martinez Humenik

Beth Martinez Humenik is an American politician who served in the Colorado State Senate from the 24th district as a member of the Republican Party from 2015 to 2019.

[3] Humenik was a member of the Thorton city council from the 3rd district from 2007 to 2015,[5] and SomXai Vue was selected to replace her after she resigned to take up a seat in the Colorado State Senate.

[7] During Humenik's tenure in the state senate she served as chair of the Local Government and Joint Technology committees.

[12] In 2012, Humenik received the Republican nomination for a seat in the Colorado House of Representatives from the 31st district, but lost to Democratic nominee Joe Salazar.

[18][19] Humenik voted against legislation that would require doctors to show ultrasound images to women seeking abortions.
