Bethany is a town in southern Brooke County, West Virginia, United States.
Scotch-Irish minister Alexander Campbell established a post office in the area of his homestead around 1827.
[6] Located within the district are the separately listed Alexander Campbell Mansion, Delta Tau Delta Founders House, Old Bethany Church, Old Main, and Pendleton Heights.
