Bielsko Voivodeship

The Bielsko Voivodeship (Polish: Województwo bielskie) was a voivodeship (province) of the Polish People's Republic from 1975 to 1989, and the Third Republic of Poland from 1989 to 1998.

It was established on 1 June 1975, from the parts of the voivodeships of Katowice, and Kraków,[1] and existed until 31 December 1998, when it was partitioned between then-established Lesser Poland, and Silesian Voivodeships.

It was formed from the part of the territories of the voivodeships of Katowice, and Kraków.
