Bilbas

Khorasan Turkey[1][2] Bilbas or Belbas (Kurdish: هۆزی بڵباس, romanized: Bilbas) is a Kurdish tribe that currently resides in the Region of Kurdistan mostly in the Erbil Province.

[8][7] The Bilbas were described to be the enemies of the Afshar tribe,[9] but Nader Shah did use them in his army to fight against the Turks.

[6] In al-Majd's book he states "The Bilbas tribe is extremely numerous and brave, and great scholars have emerged from them, including my Sheikh, the distinguished and meticulous Ibrahim Al-Ramki.”[11] The Biblas have a huge name in Kurdish history, because they fought against the Ottomans, khoshnaws, Gerdis, Soran Emirate,[6] Baban Emirate, Jaff tribe, etc.
