Bill Steinkemper

William Jacob Steinkemper (December 27, 1913 – November 26, 1973) was an American professional football tackle who played one season with the Chicago Bears of the National Football League (NFL).

William Jacob Steinkemper was born on December 27, 1913, in Anna, Ohio.

[1] After going undrafted in the 1937 NFL draft, Steinkemper started all eight games for the Cincinnati Bengals of the American Football League in 1937.

[2] He later signed with the Chicago Bears of the National Football League in 1943.

[5] He also played for the Bears in the 1943 NFL Championship Game, a 41–21 victory over the Washington Redskins.
