[citation needed] Weber spent time working for TNN as part of the Inside NASCAR.

In 2001, Weber was tapped as pre-race host and pit reporter for NBC and TNT's coverage of NASCAR.

[citation needed] Weber and commentators Wally Dallenbach Jr. and Benny Parsons made cameo appearances as themselves in the 2006 Will Ferrell NASCAR comedy Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby.
