This watercourse flows in the municipalities of La Durantaye and Saint-Vallier, in the regional county municipality (MRC) of Bellechasse, in the administrative region of Chaudière-Appalaches, in the province of Quebec, in Canada.
This spring is located 0.9 kilometres (0.56 mi) south of the village of La Durantaye and 2.1 kilometres (1.3 mi) west of "Lac aux Canards".
The Blanche river flows north-east especially in agricultural areas, more or less parallel (on the south-east side) to the rivière des Mères.
This confluence is located on the north side of Highway 20 (near exit 356), south of the village of Saint-Vallier.
