Boiling Springs is a census-designated place (CDP) in Spartanburg County, South Carolina, United States.

The spring is located at the corner of McMillian Boulevard and Highway 9 on the same lot as the (formerly) Bi-Lo Shopping Center and the Verizon Mobile store.

Once the land was developed and the shopping center was built, the springs ceased to boil.

[7] According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 6.8 square miles (18 km2), all land.

Boiling Springs students are part of Spartanburg County School District 2.

[12] Sherman College of Chiropractic is outside of the CDP though it has a Boiling Springs postal address.
