Brent Sherwin

Brent Sherwin (born 20 March 1978) is an Australian former professional rugby league footballer.

Sherwin previously played for the Catalans Dragons, Castleford Tigers, the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs and has also been represented for City Origin.

In 2002, he had a great season as he became the regular half back for the Canterbury Side, and got his first taste of representative football, As he was selected to play for City Origin.

Sherwin played halfback for Canterbury in their 2004 NRL grand final victory over cross-city rivals, the Sydney Roosters.

In 2006, he came back with great form and played in the Preliminary Final which they lost to eventual premiers the Brisbane Broncos.

He was hoping for full fitness for 2009 and a strong campaign where he would link up in the halves with Rangi Chase.

[5] He was appointed assistant coach for the Camden Rams in 2013 in the Group 6 Rugby League competition, working under former Bulldogs teammate Mitch Newton.
