Brian Talty

Brian Talty (born 12 May 1955) is a former Gaelic footballer who played at senior level for the Galway county team.

While training as a PE teacher at Thomond College in Limerick, he won an All-Ireland Club Football Championship as a star midfielder in a team that featured the Spillane brothers, Mick and Pat.

[1] He played for Galway against Dublin in the 1983 All-Ireland Senior Football Championship Final, although injury forced his substitution in the second half of that game.

In 1996 he managed St Sylvester's, Malahide, to their first, and so far only, Dublin Senior Football Championship.
