Brihuega is a municipality located in the province of Guadalajara, Spain.

According to the 2007 census (INE), the municipality had a population of 2,835 inhabitants.

In 1710 a hard-fought battle took place in the township between Lord Stanhope's troops and the Franco-Spanish army during the War of the Spanish Succession.

The town was also the scene of violent battles during the Battle of Guadalajara in the Spanish Civil War.
