Broderick D. Johnson (born 1956 or 1957) is an American lawyer who served as the White House Cabinet Secretary under President Barack Obama from 2014 to 2017.
[5] Broderick Johnson received his Bachelor of Arts in philosophy from the College of the Holy Cross in 1978 and his Juris Doctor from the University of Michigan Law School.
[6] In the Clinton administration, Johnson served as Deputy Assistant to the President for Legislative Affairs.
[4] Johnson is also an adjunct professor at his alma mater, the University of Michigan Law School, where he teaches government relations.
