John Bryan Bronson (born September 9, 1972) is an American 400-meter hurdler, who won the bronze medal at the 1997 World Championships in Athens.
He won three consecutive titles at the USA Outdoor Track and Field Championships from 1996 to 1998.
[3][4] In his youth he was chosen as the Gatorade National Track and Field Athlete of the Year.
He studied at Rice University and represented his college athletically in NCAA competition.
[8] He received a two-year ban from the sport in 1999 after failing a drugs test for steroids.
