Buckingham, Illinois

Buckingham is a village in Kankakee County, Illinois, United States.

The Coal Branch line of the Kankakee and Southwestern Railroad branched off in Buckingham and ran to the now lost, nearby towns of Clarke City and Tracy.

According to the 2010 census, Buckingham has a total area of 0.25 square miles (0.65 km2), all land.

15.0% of all households were made up of individuals, and 5.0% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.

About 6.3% of families and 8.3% of the population were below the poverty line, including 14.5% of those under the age of eighteen and 15.4% of those 65 or over.
