Buialyk (Ukrainian: Буялик), formerly known as Petrivka (Ukrainian: Петрівка; Russian: Петровка), is a rural settlement in Berezivka Raion of Odesa Oblast in Ukraine.

It is located in the steppe, about 50 kilometres (31 mi) north of the city of Odesa.

[2] Population: 4,435 (2022 estimate)[1] Until 18 July 2020, Buialyk (then Petrivka) belonged to Ivanivka Raion.

On this day, a new law entered into force which abolished this status, and Petrivka became a rural settlement.

[5] In September 2024, by the decision of the Verkhovna Rada, Petrivka was renamed to Buialyk.
