Bukovec is a municipality and village in Plzeň-South District in the Plzeň Region of the Czech Republic.

Bukovec lies approximately 17 kilometres (11 mi) north of Domažlice, 33 km (21 mi) south-west of Plzeň, and 117 km (73 mi) south-west of Prague.

The first written mention of Bukovec is from 1177.
