Byron is a town in Fond du Lac County, Wisconsin, in the United States.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 36.3 square miles (94.1 km2), all of it land.

As of the census[2] of 2000, there were 1,550 people, 538 households, and 448 families residing in the town.

There were 555 housing units at an average density of 15.3 per square mile (5.9/km2).

13.0% of all households were made up of individuals, and 5.4% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
