Breogán had a bit of a rollercoaster journey between the top division and the lower leagues, and got promoted back to the now named Liga ACB in the 1983–84 season, and qualified for the Korać Cup after finishing in the sixth position in 1984-85, playing against Red Star Belgrade, Pallacanestro Varese and ASVEL Basket.
