CIAO MALZ is a Brooklyn-based indie rock project by Filipino American multi-instrumentalist Malia DelaCruz,[1][2][3] in collaboration with James Chrisman of Sister.
[2][10][11] DelaCruz started out in music collaborating with h. pruz, James Chrisman and Ceci Sturman, before eventually joining them as Sister.
She issued her first single, Always Be My Maybe on May 28, 2021,[15] and the song was played by WFUV when CIAO MALZ was featured as that day's NY Slice artist.
[38][39] Two Feet Tall premiered on God Is In The TV[18] and received positive reviews from Indie Shuffle,[40] Muso's Guide,[41][42] Various Small Flames,[43] and numerous others.
