Calamaria schmidti

Calamaria schmidti, known commonly as Schmidt's reed snake, is a species of snake in the family Colubridae.

The specific name, schmidti, is in honor of American herpetologist Karl Patterson Schmidt.

[2] C. schmidti is found in the Malaysian state of Sabah on the island of Borneo.

[3] The preferred natural habitat of C. schmidti is forest, at altitudes of 1,350–1,550 m (4,430–5,090 ft).

The eye is much smaller than its distance from the mouth.
