Calothamnus tuberosus

Melaleuca tuberosa (Hawkeswood) Craven & R.D.Edwards Calothamnus tuberosus is a plant in the myrtle family, Myrtaceae and is endemic to the south-west of Western Australia.

)[1] Calothamnus tuberosus is a compact, highly branched shrub growing to a height of about 2.5 metres (8 ft) or more.

The flowers are rich red and in small dense spikes amongst the leaves or on the older, leafless branches .

[5] Calothamnus tuberosus occurs on or close to rocky granite outcrops from the Barbalin area to Peak Charles[2] in the Avon Wheatbelt, Coolgardie, Esperance Plains and Mallee biogeographic regions.

[6][7] Calothamnus tuberosus is classified as "not threatened" by the Western Australian Government Department of Parks and Wildlife.
