Calytrix retrorsifolia is a species of flowering plant in the myrtle family Myrtaceae and is endemic to a restricted part of the south-west of Western Australia.
[2][3] Calytrix retrorsifolia was first formally described in 2017 by Francis Jason Nge and Kevin R. Thiele in the journal Nuytsia from specimens collected near Tutunup by Greg Keighery and Neil Gibson.
[2][4] The specific epithet (retrorsifolia) means 'bent backwards-leaved'.
[2] This species of Calytrix is restricted to the Whicher Range where it grows in shallow red clays and/or yellow sands in shrublands and woodlands in the Swan Coastal Plain bioregion of south-western Western Australia.
[2][3] This star flower is listed as "Priority One" by the Government of Western Australia Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions,[3] meaning that it is known from only one or a few locations where it is potentially at risk.
