[1][2] Activities includes swimming, hiking, picnicking, fishing, boating, horseback riding, wildlife watching, winter sports and group camping.

[3][4] Facilities include a swimming beach, group and horse camping facilities, playground, picnic area with grills, cabin rentals, boat rentals and a car-top boat launch.

The park is named for its last use as Camp Plymouth, operated by the Boy Scouts of America from 1927 through the 1980s.

The property was conserved in 1984 with the help of the Ottauquechee Land Trust and conveyed to the State of Vermont, which opened the park to the public in 1989.
