Campanula persicifolia

Campanula persicifolia, the peach-leaved bellflower,[1] is a flowering plant species in the family Campanulaceae.

[4][5] Campanula persicifolia is a clump-forming perennial herbaceous plant growing to a height of 30 to 100 centimetres (12 to 39 in).

The basal leaves are short stalked and narrowly spatulate and usually wither before flowering time.

It grows at lower altitudes in the north, and higher up further south, passing 1,500 m (4,921 ft) in Provence.

[6] In cultivation numerous varieties and cultivars have been developed in a range of colours including white, blue, pink and purple.
