Canada Post stamp releases (2005–2009)

In the latter half of the decade, Canada Post continued to issue a large number of stamps with different designs and themes.

Said legends include Paul Anka, Gordon Lightfoot, Joni Mitchell, and Anne Murray, with the stamps printed on a MetalFX process.

Their objective is to recommend a balanced stamp program that will have broad-based appeal, regionally and culturally, reflecting Canadian history, heritage, and tradition.
