Cantemir (Romanian pronunciation: [kanteˈmir]) is a town in Moldova.
According to the 2014 census, the population of Cantemir amounted to 3,429 inhabitants, a decrease compared to the previous census in 2004, when 3,872 inhabitants were registered.
