Caracena

Caracena is a municipality located in the province of Soria, in the autonomous community of Castile and León, Spain.

From the point of view of the Catholic Church, it is part of the Diocese of Osma-Soria, which in turn is part of the Archdiocese of Burgos.

Located on the banks of the Caracena river, limits with: The village is located on the "wool route" Ruta de la Lana, a variant of the Camino de Santiago between Alicante and Burgos.

This road connects the Spanish provinces of Soria and Segovia due to the connection between the local road and the SO-135 that starts in Ayllón.
