In 2016, she was named to the United States women's national rugby union team for the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro.
[3] After college, Farmer attended law school at the University of Maryland, graduating in 2006.
[3] Farmer started playing rugby at age 31 after a friend from Australia recommended she try the sport.
[3] Farmer decided to try the sport for fun and found the closest rugby club to where she lived, located in Annapolis, Maryland.
[3] Farmer was part of the U.S. team that secured a spot in the 2016 Summer Olympics at the 2015 NACRA Sevens Championships.
