Carrolltown is a borough in Cambria County, Pennsylvania, United States.

Carrolltown is located in northern Cambria County at 40°36′N 78°43′W / 40.600°N 78.717°W / 40.600; -78.717 (40.603, -78.709),[5] approximately 20 miles west of Altoona.

According to the United States Census Bureau, Carrolltown has a total area of 0.69 square miles (1.8 km2), all land.

The racial makeup of the borough was 99.62% White, 0.19% African American, and 0.19% from two or more races.

25.3% of all households were made up of individuals, and 17.0% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
