Mazur began his collegiate career for the Denver Pioneers during the 2021–22 season, where he recorded 14 goals and 21 assists in 41 games.
On October 28, 2022, Mazur recorded his first career hat-trick in a game against Miami.
[5][6] On March 28, 2023, Mazur signed a three-year, entry-level contract with the Detroit Red Wings.
[8] He was subsequently assigned to the Red Wings' AHL affiliate, the Grand Rapids Griffins on an amateur tryout.
[9] Mazur represented the United States at the 2022 World Junior Ice Hockey Championships, where he led the team in scoring with five goals and two assists in five games.
