Carver Shannon

Carver Beauregard Shannon (born April 28, 1938) was an American and Canadian football player who played for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers and Hamilton Tiger-Cats.

After his time with the Rams he went to play for the Chicago Bears where he sustained a knee injury and retired from professional football.

From 1983 through 1985 Shannon was a line judge in the NFL, wearing uniform number 56.

He is a member of the Southern Illinois University Sport Hall of Fame, inducted in 1978.
