The series premiered in Canada on YTV on January 11, 2009, and then in France on TF1's TFOU block on April 1, and later in the United States on Cartoon Network on October 4 the same year.
A second season aired in 2012 with a new opening sequence, a new voice cast and a slightly different CGI animation style.
The second season premiered on October 2, 2012, on Cartoon Network featuring a new title theme, recasting all the voices and with new edited CGI animation.
Many other actors from said show also worked on it such as Mirabelle Kirkland who voiced Yumi Ishiyama in Code Lyoko and plays Mantha and Jimmy in the second season.
In August 2010, Classic Media and Vivendi Entertainment released Casper's Scare School: 12 Monstrous Episodes on DVD in Region 1.
