Catarina Cardoso Garcia da Fonseca Furtado (born 25 August 1972) is a Portuguese television presenter, actress and UNFPA Goodwill Ambassador.
Catarina's first big success was as a presenter on the TV show Top + on RTP, a Portuguese program featuring popular music videos and the national weekly record chart.
She went on to do a variety of shows, including Treasure Hunt (Caça ao Tesouro), on SIC television, which was often shot on location in Portugal's smaller towns, where Catarina arrived in a helicopter.
On January 8, 2018, she was announced as one of the four hosts of the 2018 Eurovision Song Contest alongside Sílvia Alberto, Daniela Ruah, and Filomena Cautela.
She also trained in journalism and studied drama at London's International School of Acting from 1995 to 1997, as well as Lee Strasberg's Method Studio in England.
