Higgins premiered "Cemetery" at "A Weekend in the Gardens" on 19 November 2017,[1] and released on 13 April 2018 as the second[2] and final single from her fifth studio album, Solastalgia.
Upon release, Higgins explained "I've just always been really adventurous and a bit of an explorer and for some reason I got into the habit of finding cemeteries and jumping the fence and going for a walk.
Higgins said "It almost felt like we couldn't ever survive as a couple because it was too uncertain and dangerous and exciting and explosive.
"[3] The video for "Cemetery" was directed by Natasha Pincus and released on 26 April 2018.
