The Department of Natural Resources uses the same borders, but calls the Inuvik Region "Beaufort Delta".

Nihtat Gwichʼin (Inuvik) Statistics Canada divides the territory into six census divisions.

These areas exist solely for the purposes of statistical analysis and presentation; they have no government of their own.
