Central City is a village in Marion County, Illinois, United States.

U.S. Route 51 passes through Central City as Broadway and Commercial Street, leading south into Centralia and north 5 miles (8 km) to Sandoval.

According to the U.S. Census Bureau, Central City has a total area of 0.57 square miles (1.48 km2), all land.

[2] Crooked Creek, a west-flowing tributary of the Kaskaskia River, touches the northern edge of the village.
