Ceritoturris

See text Crassispira (Ceritoturris) Dall, 1924 (original rank) Ceritoturris is a genus of sea snails, marine gastropod mollusks in the family Horaiclavidae.

[1] It was previously included within the subfamily Crassispirinae, family Turridae.

[1] Fossils of Ceritoturris fecunda Lozouet, 1999 have been found in Miocene strata of Germany; age range: 15.97 to 11.608 Ma.

[2] and late Oligocene strata in the Aquitaine Basin[3] The minute shell has a blunt protoconch.

The seven subsequent whorls are moderately rounded, axially and spirally sculptured.
