Chad Jones (American football)

Chad D'Orsey Jones (born October 5, 1988) is an American former baseball and football player.

Jones was selected by the Houston Astros in the 13th round of the 2007 Major League Baseball draft but decided to attend Louisiana State University.

During the regular season he had a 2.70 earned run average and struck out seven in 6.2 innings and also started eight of 27 games in the outfield.

[1] As a true freshman in 2007 Jones played in all 14 of the Tigers games at cornerback and was a member of their National Championship team.

[3] Jones's older brother, Rahim Alem, is a former defensive end for the Cincinnati Bengals.
