Chaiyong Satjipanon

In 1976 he became Thailand's liaison officer to the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP), before becoming the Third Secretary of the International Conference division one year later.

[1][2] In 2001 he became Thailand's Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Republic of Indonesia, being concurrently accredited to Papua New Guinea.

[7][8] In 2010 Dr Chaiyong Satjipanon was 2010 received Order of Knighthood of St. Gregory the Great from the Vatican City State.

[9] He filed a criminal complaint against the hospital claiming negligence of the staff had resulted in his wife's death, and his case was supported by Thailand's Embassy and Ministry of Foreign Affairs, who called on the South Korean government to investigate medical standards at the hospital.
