Chakar is a village in the Jagraon tehsil of Ludhiana district in Indian Punjab.

Nearby villages include Mallah, Minia, Kussa, Rama, Hathure, Lakha and Manuke.

The village is predominated by the Sikhs, the follower of Sikhism with Hindu and Muslim minorities.
